Dear Friends,

 

As you would know, 2009 marks the 50^th anniversary of His Holiness’ flight into exile.  For the past half century, His Holiness has worked tirelessly to find a peaceful solution to the tragic situation in Tibet and to preserve Tibetan culture within the freedom of exile for the hundreds of thousands of ordinary Tibetans who have also fled persecution in their homeland. 

 

To mark this occasion, the Brisbane Powerhouse  with the support of Australia Tibet Council, Tibet Information Office (Canberra), Chenrezig Institute and the QLD Tibetan Community Inc. is hosting a three day festival showcasing aspects of Tibetan culture.  It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the festival.  Workshops, concerts and panel discussions will stimulate your senses and inspire your activism.
