PUBLIC TALK: Compassionate Mind: Path to Happiness

Geshe Tashi Tsering to be Lama Umdze – Chief Lama and Ritual Master – at Gyüme Tantric University in south India . So, This public talk would be a very special one off chance for a long time. Don’t Miss out!!! We have managed to make it a free public talk as an offering.

 Born in Kardze in eastern Tibet in 1937, Ven. Geshe Tashi Tsering has devoted his life to studying and practicing Buddhism and to conveying the essence of the Buddha’s teachings in cogent, powerful ways. He draws from an unbroken lineage of authentic teachings and presents them in a way that is relevant and highly meaningful to modern life.

In Compassionate Mind: Path to Happiness, Geshe la will discuss the essence of Tibetan culture which is deeply rooted in the ideal of Compassion and how one can develop that nature and use it in this modern age.

50 Years in Tibet panel discussion will bring Mr Tenzin Atisha (His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s  Representative in Australia) from the Tibet Information Office, Geshe Lobsang Jamyang from Chenrezig Institute, Dr. Simon Bradshaw – Campaign Coordinator for the Australia Tibet Council and Senator Bob Brown from The Greens (TBC) to share their views on TIBET: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE.  Hosted by long time Tibet supporter, Mark Olsen.
